YouTube Sojourn

You should make yourself comfortable in front of your computer and make a little trip to YouTube. An assortment of great Mark videos has been uploaded.

There is a behind-the-scenes video of Mark voicing Wolverine, in the computer game X2: Wolverine's Revenge. You can see him actually voice the character, and he's commenting on it.

Then there are four clips from the movie Time Runner up, in which Mark played the lead hero Michael Raynor

'Time Runner' Part 1
'Time Runner' Part 2
'Time Runner' Part 3
'Time Runner' Part 4

There's also a first part of Mark on the series Amazing Stories, where he starred in the episode Gather Ye Acorns:

Enjoy all that Markness! :D

Hot!

I still think Mark looks the hottest in Time Runner (beside SW). It's great to see him recording the voice of Wolverine... so there's not just a hot actor (Hugh Jackman) performing as Wolverine, but it's good to know that there's also a hot voice behind the cartoon.

Re: Hot!

It's the hairdo and that three-days worth of stubble, isn't it? Irresistible. Is he hottest in "Time Runner"... well, I don't know. He's pretty hot in "Black Magic Woman", but the shirts in that movie just don't do. *grins*

Re: Hot!

It's probably that leather-jacket-white-shirt-blue-jeans-combination... and the hair and beard *G* Everything ;)

Pay attention to the movie mistake: they shoot the window of the BMW (was it a BMW? I don't remember it exactly) and in the next scene, when they drive to Carl's house, it's like new.

Re: Hot!

I must pay attention next time I watch the movie. That totally passed me by... And you're right, that jeans goes a long, long way in the appeal. ;) Didn't like the space suit at the beginning. I have yet to see a space suit that looks better than the X-Wing pilot flightsuit.

Re: Hot!

The shirts in that movie are terrible! But it was the early 90's, so I don't know what else we could have expected.... Still, to put our Mark in them just seems wrong.

Re: Hot!

Yeah, the shirts in "Black Magic Woman" are a big minus for the feel of the movie. Although he did look deliciously lanky in them. Nothing beats the blue jeans-scenes, though, which thankyfully there are some, too. ;)
Thanks for the links. I occasionally trawl YouTube but have never seen these before!
You're welcome. I'm currently working on getting my own "YouTube" profile underway. I'm toying around with the Playlists function. In my mind, it is supposed, at one time, to help Mark fans find their way around and see exactly the videos they want to. Don't know yet when I'll have that ready. :)
Time Runner always bothered me, because it's one of those movies that makes time travel effect the future "while the past is happening." Meanwhile, in the future! *headache*

But Mark--always awesome.
I know what you mean! I remember that I needed 2 viewings to fully understand what was going on, especially the end (although of course it's only logical). My only excuse is that I was, like, 14 at the time, and too busy looking at Mark and blushing at close-ups to follow the storyline. ;)

Speaking of YouTube additions...

... someone posted the entire Wing Commander 4 on YouTube. Too bad they couldn't just post the movie, but had to fill it with some enlightening drunken "commentary" that is painfully unfunny.
Still, if you put in on mute, it's got a lot of eye-candy potential from Mark. ;)

Re: Speaking of YouTube additions...

I just saw it! Wow. This is cool! This'll be what I do tomorrow morning. Watching and downloading all these clips. :) And thanks for the warning about the "commentary". Some people are just so immature.

Was there a separate movie collage done for all the live-action scenes of "Wing Commander IV"? I've heard on some boards that people would love for such a thing to be released. Only the live-action sequences, cut together as a veritable movie...

Who knows? Maybe it'll happen one day.

Re: Speaking of YouTube additions...

Yes someone once posted all the live action clips of Wing Commander on Youtube (I think for both 3 and 4). It was done in the necessary 10 minute clips. But they are gone now. I had favorited them, and all of a sudden, one day they disappeared from my favorites. There are still some WC clips out there, but not all of them and not the entire movie, and I think mostly concentrating on 3 (I liked 4 better).

Re: Speaking of YouTube additions...

I can only recommend you to get Mozilla Firefox and download the "Video Downloader" add-on. It allows you to easily download any YouTube clip. So if you find something great you can download it and don't need to be worried about it suddenly disappearing. :)
