"Cannon" on DVD

According to TV Shows on DVD CBS DVD and Paramount Home Entertainment are going to release Volume 1 of Season 1 of the TV series "Cannon" on July 8, 2008.

There is no definite list of episodes yet that will be contained on the DVD, but it stands to reason that Volume 1 will include the first half of the 24 episodes that made up Season 1.

Mark appeared in Episode 4 of Season 1, Country Blues, which aired October 5, 1971. His role was minor and seems to have been given no name. Incidentally, he played a farmboy. :) Check out the episode summary at the International Mark Hamill Fan Club.

It is very difficult to get your hands on Mark's early work, and in DVD quality to boot, so seize this opportunity! :)

It's too bad that CBS didn't just put these episodes online instead of straight to DVD.

***Hopefully someday in the near future, someone will eventually copy the Mark episode onto Youtube.***

True. It's always a bit of a drag to buy an entire Season (or even half of it) for just one episode, especially if our love's appearance is such a short one. Then again, it's Mark... And since this is such an old series there won't be too many extras and stuff, or so I imagine; that should show in the price, shouldn't it?
