TALKING HAMILL

I just found out that the 1st season of Metalocalypse will see a DVD release on October 2 this year. I wonder whether there'll be a second season shot and whether Mark will be featured as prominently in it as he was in the first one.

The series is too brutal for my taste, although it's worth it to bear the gore and the violence long enough to hear Mark with a French accent. ;) 'Course this is just my personal opinion; I know the show has a lot of fans, and that's great. :)

On a side note, as you can see I did a layout change again. Don't ask me whether that's it now. For the moment, at least, I'm reasonably satisfied. ;)

This morning I decided that I needed a layout change on my LJ. This came about because I was brushing up my tags list and as I was enthusiastically categorizing entries, I realized this really doesn't serve anybody's purpose for as long as I don't have a tags list displayed on my LJ for visitors to use. For some reason, the "Flexible Squares" layout doesn't include a tags list component. After plenty of tries, I ended up with EXACTLY the layout I had started with in January. So much for the freshness I was intending to introduce.

However, this suits my needs just fine, as you can see by the ridiculously long tags list to your right. Indeed, I am pretty sure it'll grow even longer with time. What can I say? I enjoy categorizing things and the fact that Mark is working in so many different media makes it quite necessary to differentiate... I guess. ;)

Where am I going with this entry? Nowhere interesting, actually. I just felt like talking about this layout change, because only two or three months ago I was SO hell-bent on getting rid of this layout and completely HATED it.... This must be what the word "eclectic" means.

So I finally went and did it. I registered with LJ. Originally I did so only to keep up with friends, not to write my own web diary. Because, really, there's not much I have to tell.

Since the LJ space comes with the registration, though, and since it's absurd to let it go to waste, I decided to create my LJ as a Mark Hamill place on the net. I do love that man to death and I don't get tired of letting the world know. :)

I'll post news and imagery I find, like icons, avatars and such. Also, you'll find the links to my other Mark websites, where you'll find much, much more extensive information on him. I'll soon post an entry with more details on that.

So, if you're a Mark Hamill fan, I'd love to friend with you. If you're not a Mark fan, then you'll probably find this LJ so boring that you'll never return. ;)
