According to TV Shows on DVD CBS DVD and Paramount Home Entertainment are going to release Volume 1 of Season 1 of the TV series "Cannon" on July 8, 2008.

There is no definite list of episodes yet that will be contained on the DVD, but it stands to reason that Volume 1 will include the first half of the 24 episodes that made up Season 1.

Mark appeared in Episode 4 of Season 1, Country Blues, which aired October 5, 1971. His role was minor and seems to have been given no name. Incidentally, he played a farmboy. :) Check out the episode summary at the International Mark Hamill Fan Club.

It is very difficult to get your hands on Mark's early work, and in DVD quality to boot, so seize this opportunity! :)

He's in heavy make-up, but I think very recognizable all the same. The name of his character is Pel. Next to him in the role of the Ferna Herna Jin is his friend and creator of the series, Bill Mumy.
