The A & E Mark Biography

Unbelievable as it sounds, I actually managed to stick to my pre-set schedule for the week. If you go to Just The Best you'll find an all-new section on the Mark Hamill biography screened by "Arts & Entertainment" in 2001.

I don't know how many of you have ever seen this. On the site I have a brief rundown and 13 screen captions. Unfortunately it seems that the A & E store no longer has the video for sale. I find this really sad, because this biography is such a wonderful feature.

On another note, I listened to yesterday's issue of "Better Things" this morning. So Mark took a vacation last week. Naughty man; he could have told us! *grins*

Whereas I found the new format they tried very, very interesting, I think I'd love for them to go back to what they first tried. In any case, it was highly enjoyable again and once again full of anecdotes from Mark's personal life. In short, 2 hours of fan heaven. :)

Whatever Happened to...

..."Monsters Wanted"?

Do you remember that show?

I was watching the 2002 Mark biography this morning and they have a rather extensive segment showing Mark directing "Monsters Wanted", having a ball. The tiny little scene they show is hilarious and I liked the concept already when I first heard of it.

Ever since, though, I can't recall "Monsters Wanted" having been mentioned anywhere. It made me wonder whether it was ever actually aired?

I have been googling around, but haven't found any illuminating piece of news so far. Does anybody have an idea where one could find out more?

Cool

Very short clip, but it's Mark!

I haven't posted in more than three weeks. *sighs* I really can't wait to be finished with my diploma thesis and return to all my Mark-related internet activities.

This morning I needed some distraction, so I went and browsed around YouTube.

I found this short video of the 1985 Night of 100 Stars gala. When the ladies start walking the male celebrities down, Mark's first in line. He doesn't say anything and it's only a couple of seconds that we see him, but that's better than nothing and despite the grainy picture, he's easily recognizable. :D

Enjoy!

Bronx Bunny Show Caps

I'm continuing the screen cap madness with a post of caps I took from The Bronx Bunny Show - 31 caps in total.

Needless to say, Mark looks great and from what I've heard the show was quite hilarious. These are two deranged puppets...

Screen-capping is a wonderful pastime... and so much more inspiring than university work. ;)
